Community Promotion

Vitality Works is sponsoring the "Walking School Bus" on the North Shore by donating up to 260 10,000 Steps Active Packs to North Shore City Council's walking school bus programme to attract volunteers for the city's walking school buses. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to get to their website for more information about this programme.

Vitality Works work with a number of community partners to provide product and programs to promote community health. Presently we licence the 10,000 Steps trademark to the 10,000 Steps Northland project a multistrategy physical activity health promotion intervention in Northland New Zealand. We also have similar projects and licensing arrangements with other New Zealand health providers in Taranaki, and Waitakere regions.

Vitality Works have significant expertise and experience in running large scale intervention projects. If you are interested in working with the 10,000 Steps concept contact us and we are happy to discuss how this might work in engaging your community in accumulating more health-related physical activity in a sustainable way. Our expertise includes social marketing advice and strategy, multi-level intervention using social ecological approaches, product supply and branding, working in primary health care, and working with different ethnic groups.
